Mr.Casey says everybody is fine with the m.p.s.school yard being split. But as far as the kids are concerned nobody likes it. The grade5's wrote complaint letters and if you asked the whole grade 6 class every answer to the question
"do you like the split school yard?"the answer would be "NO i hate it!!!!!!!"
Another example is that when we accidentally kick a ball over to the little kids side we don't get it back until the end of the day which in the grade 6 class's case we wont have a ball for the rest of the day which is a long time. So make sure you let Mr. Casey know that you don't like the yard and maybe we will get the school yard back to normal.
O.k we could tell Mr.Casey that the split yard has some bad qualities, but I still like how the little kids aren`t getting hurt on our side now that we have split sides.

i think its good as then that means no littel kids well be runing throw the fild and get hit by the ball or get in the way. and if the ball gets kicked over there so gust go get it the techers cant get you in trouble for geting a ball.

ReplyDeleteWell I think the split yard does nothing. When a soccer ball on either side goes over "The line" we still go over and get it. The little kids are still aloud to walk over to the peace garden THROUGH THE SOCCER FIELD. Also when summer comes, where are the younger kids going to get shade? They can't all pile up in the back under the tree. Last but not least if the teachers are trying to prevent injury's they might as well send one kid out at a time. So think the divided yard is pointless and should be removed.
ReplyDeleteI am with you I hate the new play ground it suck.We never get are ball back but the little kids aways get there's back.I think that it should go back to the way it was befor.when you could go where you wanted when you wanted.That is my matter in this.Ho and nice blog.
